With the gradual popularization of new energy vehicles in China, the number of various public charging piles supporting them is also increasing. 

Charging pile involves electricity metering and electricity fee settlement. Whether the metering is accurate will directly affect the vital interests of 

consumers. Therefore, to carry out compulsory verification of charging piles and unify standards is conducive to the healthy development of the 

industry and effectively strengthen the verification management of charging piles.

Recently, the State Administration of market supervision officially released the new version of jjg1148-2022 verification regulation for electric 

vehicle AC charging pile and jjg1149-2022 verification regulation for electric vehicle off board charger, which will replace the previous version 

of 2018. The new standard will be implemented on December 28, 2022, and the mandatory verification of charging piles will start from January 

1, 2023.
